A collision led to Alsheim getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Marco Petzel hit a great ball. Silverio Hanot who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Traugott Buchholtz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 74 played minutes Alsheim got a freekick which was hit by Fred Funke. In the 82ndth minute of the game Silverio Hanot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alsheim's Traugott Buchholtz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Silverio Hanot in the 82nd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Traugott Buchholtz kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Rolf Kockel made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by René Bopp. Hunteburger SV's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
