Wittensand FC's Arminius Thum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Wittensand FC from getting a goal against them. Kunibert Ruge's late challenge caught a Nein zu RB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kunibert Ruge helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Wittensand FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Kunibert Ruge hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Wittensand FC's Wilfried Ditsche got a free kick in the 10th minute. Kay Bender sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick Gust in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arminius Thum saved Wittensand FC from getting behind. Rainer Maria Massaquoi succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 1-1 became the score in the 18th minute when Lysander Bachert elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sebastian Jennen charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Jennen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nein zu RB getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Sebastian Jennen hit a great ball. Alexander Omilade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Patrick Gust had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Alexander Omilade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30th minute Patrick Gust shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arminius Thum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Omilade scored 2-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arminius Thum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arminius Thum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Gust in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Alexander Omilade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nein zu RB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Omilade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arminius Thum was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patrick Gust showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrick Gust was the one to do the kick off. When 정 여 fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nein zu RB's protests and gave 정 여 a yellow card for diving instead. The goalkeeper, Gustavo Scarpa, was totally fooled by Wittensand FC's Cornelis Voltz, who 54 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 57 minutes into the game, Rainer Maria Massaquoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Arminius Thum was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wittensand FC's Arminius Thum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Fritzenwanker in the 61st minute of play. Arminius Thum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 정 여, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Rainer Maria Massaquoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arminius Thum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Omilade in the 68th minute of play. Nein zu RB's Gustavo Scarpa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lysander Bachert in the 70th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Jennen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arminius Thum was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After some careless play in the Wittensand FC defense, Rainer Maria Massaquoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arminius Thum. The Wittensand FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arminius Thum should have stopped the shot. 정 여 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arminius Thum having to make a save. 정 여 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arminius Thum having to interfere. Patrick Gust recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arminius Thum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Gust, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arminius Thum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Jennen's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. After 96 minutes, Lysander Bachert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wittensand FC and the Nein zu RB players grew even worse after the yellow card.
