With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Wellmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, Nico Taube notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sieverslake's Markus Junker. Markus Junker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Eitler in the 16th minute of play forced Sieverslake's goalkeeper Markus Junker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Markus Junker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tore Breitschuster in the 18th minute of play. Sieverslake were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after SV06L's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigurd Drengenburg took the corner. Lukas Mannheim was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 23 minutes of play, SV06L's Florian Eitler made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Markus Junker was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis Zichmann in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Markus Junker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Eitler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erhard Scherhag was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Sieverslake's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Sieverslake booed when SV06L was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Rothe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Gabriel Wellmann successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dennis Zichmann struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Gabriel Wellmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sieverslake. In the 42nd minute Nico Taube shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Junker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Erhard Scherhag got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 47 played minutes SV06L got a freekick which was hit by Tore Breitschuster. Thanks to some nice moves Erhard Scherhag could shoot a difficult shot in the 48th minute, which Gabriel Wellmann however easily saved by the left post. After the first half SV06L were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gabriel Wellmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erhard Scherhag, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 53 played minutes SV06L got a freekick which was hit by Florian Eitler. After a defensive mix-up in SV06L's zone, Sigurd Drengenburg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Wellmann came out of the goal and Sigurd Drengenburg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Wellmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigurd Drengenburg in the 62nd minute of the match. Jan Dorn hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When Sieverslake's Robbie Stelze in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SV06L's goalie prevented a goal. Gabriel Wellmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erhard Scherhag in the 67th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SV06L's zone, Robbie Stelze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Wellmann came out of the goal and Robbie Stelze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd match minute, Sieverslake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robbie Stelze to maneuver through the defense. When Sieverslake's Sigurd Drengenburg in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SV06L's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Sieverslake's Markus Junker got control of the ball when Florian Eitler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fritz Rothe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Markus Junker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nico Taube in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute, SV06L's Fritz Rothe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Markus Junker. Markus Junker yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. The Sieverslake supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SV06L's performance. The match ended with a win for SV06L.
