Gerd Pflugs short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Gustavo Scarpa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Frank Football's Bert Wolf slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gustavo Scarpa. That made the score 2-0 after 23 minutes of play. 26 minutes into the game, Bert Wolf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frank Football's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nein zu RB the free kick. Bert Wolf kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Alexander Omilade notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Frank Football's Nunez Iraitz. Nunez Iraitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gerd Pflug came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gustavo Scarpa could save by the left post. 39 minutes into the game, Gerd Pflug recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gustavo Scarpa. Gerd Pflug showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerd Pflug got free with Gustavo Scarpa in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Frank Football's Gerd Pflug sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Scarpa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nunez Iraitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Gust, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerd Pflug stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Rainer Maria Massaquoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nunez Iraitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bert Wolf in the 59th minute of play forced Nein zu RB's goalkeeper Gustavo Scarpa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Gerd Pflug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Scarpa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerd Pflug in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Scarpa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute, Gerd Pflug left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frank Football fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rainer Maria Massaquoi got free with Nunez Iraitz in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Rainer Maria Massaquoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Stefan Stedefeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Scarpa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Nein zu RB's goal looked a bit too open when Gerd Pflug came free, but Gustavo Scarpa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Omilade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Nunez Iraitz made a huge save. Yves Anders hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Frank Football were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nein zu RB for a fine match.
