Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bill Frick got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Mukengechay in the 3rd minute of play forced Ottrau's goalkeeper Morgan Hensel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enno Langer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustin Tschorn having to interfere. Ernst Holthuis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Augustin Tschorn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enno Langer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Augustin Tschorn made a huge save. Ludwig Drechsler might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Morgan Hensel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ludwig Drechsler ran back to his position shaking his head. Morgan Hensel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Mukengechay in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Bill Frick left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FSV Straubing fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Morgan Hensel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Mukengechay in the 19th minute of the match. FSV Straubing's Ismael Höfer got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Morgan Hensel came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by FSV Straubing's Bill Frick. But to his dismay, Bill Frick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Ottrau's Erwin Endrikat got a free kick in the 28th minute. Morgan Hensel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Mukengechay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Ludwig Drechsler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morgan Hensel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Bill Frick left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FSV Straubing fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 35 played minutes FSV Straubing got a freekick which was hit by Erwin Brameshuber. After 40 minutes of play, FSV Straubing's Nils Mukengechay made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Morgan Hensel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Morgan Hensel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bill Frick in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernst Holthuis was the one to do the kick off. When Vicco Noll fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FSV Straubing's protests and gave Vicco Noll a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Vicco Noll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augustin Tschorn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ismael Höfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Morgan Hensel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils Mukengechay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Morgan Hensel made a huge save. In the 73rd minute of the match, Bill Frick tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Morgan Hensel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Morgan Hensel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Koschinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Morgan Hensel made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Nils Mukengechay sent off a good shot on target. Augustin Tschorn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Bergsohn in the 89th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Morgan Hensel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 95th minute Harald Koschinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morgan Hensel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute Bill Frick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morgan Hensel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FSV Straubing's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
