Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ernst Holthuis kicked off to start the match. Morgan Hensel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tore Breitschuster in the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Ottrau's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Eitler came free, but Morgan Hensel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Nico Taube made a precise shot to the right of Morgan Hensel. Ottrau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 12 played minutes SV06L got a freekick which was hit by Shingo Liebing. 15 minutes into the match, SV06L's goal looked a bit too open when Enno Langer came free, but Gabriel Wellmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enno Langer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gabriel Wellmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Enno Langer made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Wellmann. SV06L's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 24th minute Benni Eckstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Wellmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hanno Schinnenburg charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. SV06L's Gabriel Wellmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enno Langer in the 42nd minute of play. Florian Eitler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Morgan Hensel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute Florian Eitler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morgan Hensel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florian Eitler made a kick off. The supporters of Ottrau booed when SV06L was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Fandel didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Gabriel Wellmann managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Ottrau's Fulko Pressel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 69 minutes, Ernst Holthuis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ottrau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernst Holthuis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Wellmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enno Langer in the 78th minute. If Fritz Rothe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The SV06L support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
