In the 7thth minute of the game Leo Noll who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC HARZ THALE's Tobias Warlies was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kurt Brominski hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Clodoveo Rutenio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Christoph Schulitz. Tobias Warlies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Kreuzberger in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, FC HARZ THALE's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Noll came free, but Tobias Warlies reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The excitement rose when FC HARZ THALE's Niclas Oppenheim after 45 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for KITKAT POWER's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clodoveo Rutenio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fritz Kreuzberger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Warlies having to interfere. After 94 played minutes FC HARZ THALE got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Kompa. KITKAT POWER were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
