VFB ST.leon's Tommy Haug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uno Arielsen in the 43rd minute of play. Uno Arielsen struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Tommy Haug didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Nenndorf. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timo Atan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th match minute, VFB ST.leon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calvin Fuchs to maneuver through the defense. Esra Keßler's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tommy Haug firmly grabbed it by the left post. 69 minutes into the game, Uno Arielsen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Haug. Uno Arielsen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 73 minutes into the match, VFB ST.leon's Calvin Fuchs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franz Jungbauer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timo Atan in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franz Jungbauer saved FC Nenndorf from getting behind. After 80 played minutes VFB ST.leon got a freekick which was hit by Timo Atan. After 83 minutes, Timo Atan made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Nenndorf's Franz Jungbauer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 87 minutes into the match, FC Nenndorf's goal looked a bit too open when Timo Atan came free, but Franz Jungbauer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. VFB ST.leon had won after a very even match.
