An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Birmes in the 9th minute of play forced KITKAT POWER's goalkeeper Clodoveo Rutenio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes WATTENSCHEID got a freekick which was hit by Zvonimir Reuther. Clodoveo Rutenio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Birmes went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Christoph Kaufhold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Clodoveo Rutenio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Christoph Kaufhold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Rutenio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Thieltges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Noll, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. KITKAT POWER's Clodoveo Rutenio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Birmes in the 24th minute of play. Clodoveo Rutenio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Pleve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Noll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Birmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Rutenio having to interfere. Christoph Kaufhold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Jan Birmes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clodoveo Rutenio was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Semen Kunik made in the 42nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sylvain Voss. Clodoveo Rutenio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Birmes in the 43rd minute of play. In the 48th minute of the match, Leo Noll tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Richard Thieltges saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Christoph Kaufhold could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Clodoveo Rutenio made a huge save. Leo Noll took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Thieltges. Richard Thieltges dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some careless play in the WATTENSCHEID defense, Leo Noll kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Thieltges. The WATTENSCHEID fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Thieltges should have stopped the shot. Richard Thieltges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Noll in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Leo Noll had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Richard Thieltges. WATTENSCHEID's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leo Noll was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 78th minute Leo Noll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Thieltges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, KITKAT POWER's Clodoveo Rutenio got control of the ball when Christoph Kaufhold tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jan Birmes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Clodoveo Rutenio came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan Birmes slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 86th minute. Alexander Hartleitner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niels Tempel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Clodoveo Rutenio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clodoveo Rutenio came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by WATTENSCHEID's Christoph Kaufhold. But to his dismay, Christoph Kaufhold quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. WATTENSCHEID were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
