Clemens Clauren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Biskup having to interfere. Eduard Biskup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemens Clauren in the 6th minute of play. If Robert Klute had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Schkeuditz Ost's Joachim Schwarzbäcker in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Joachim Schwarzbäcker charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joachim Schwarzbäcker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Schkeuditz Ost's Joachim Schwarzbäcker got a free kick in the 36th minute. The supporters of Schkeuditz Ost booed when Hillsbach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Mayr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murat Simon might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduard Biskup. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Murat Simon ran back to his position shaking his head. Hillsbach's Eduard Biskup played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Schwarzbäcker in the 41st minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Clemens Clauren made the kick off in the second half. Bruce Teichert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Biskup having to interfere. Robert Klute kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Zlatko Rüppel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zinédine Vitz. Schkeuditz Ost's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Schkeuditz Ost players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
