Clodoveo Rutenio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lothar Cestonaro in the 41st minute of the match. The wind increased when Uno Arielsen made the kick off in the second half. Leo Noll struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Clodoveo Rutenio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esra Keßler in the 56th minute. The audience was convinced that Fritz Kreuzberger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franz Jungbauer was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After 93 played minutes FC Nenndorf got a freekick which was hit by Paavo Bracher. The FC Nenndorf supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Nenndorf would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
