Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Damian Scholtz started the match with the kick off. A hard and well directed shot from Sascha Andre Mühleck led 4 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. VfL Wolfsburg's Freddy Freytag became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. Freddy Freytag stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Phoenix Humme's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After 11 minutes, Walther Lautwein mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VfL Wolfsburg and the FC Bwood players grew even worse after the yellow card. Walther Lautwein kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When Damian Scholtz came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the VfL Wolfsburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Scholtz couldn't finish the play. When Matt Graul fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VfL Wolfsburg's protests and gave Matt Graul a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to VfL Wolfsburg getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Matt Graul hit a great ball. If Damian Scholtz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddy Freytag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phoenix Humme in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute Mark Nievelstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Freytag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes of play, FC Bwood's Phoenix Humme made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Freytag was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute Gregor Gorny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Freytag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Freddy Freytag made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Mark Nievelstein sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, VfL Wolfsburg's Freddy Freytag got control of the ball when Gregor Gorny tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 69 played minutes VfL Wolfsburg got a freekick which was hit by Matt Graul. Freddy Freytag showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phoenix Humme in the 72nd minute of the match. Mark Nievelstein in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Freddy Freytag, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Freddy Freytag made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Nievelstein in the 77th minute. Gregor Gorny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Freddy Freytag didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mark Nievelstein went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. When the match was over FC Bwood could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than VfL Wolfsburg throughout the match.
