Thilo Schütz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike Reimer having to interfere. In the 4th match minute, PAOK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zula Hodyl to maneuver through the defense. Thilo Schütz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mike Reimer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Zula Hodyl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marner TV's Thilo Schütz got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute Raphael Gabler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Reimer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Marner TV's Raphael Gabler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mike Reimer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Mike Reimer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thilo Schütz in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Thilo Schütz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marner TV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thilo Schütz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raphael Gabler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike Reimer having to interfere. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind PAOK's goalkeeper Mike Reimer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mike Reimer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Gabler in the 43rd minute of the match. Mike Reimer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Gabler, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Marner TV were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Behrens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Raphael Gabler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Reimer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thilo Schütz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Mike Reimer made a huge save. Mike Reimer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Gabler, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute, Adam Behrens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Thilo Schütz came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Marner TV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thilo Schütz couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Heinrich Kleist during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Marner TV booed when PAOK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heinrich Kleist didn't get a good kick on the ball. PAOK's Mike Reimer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Gabler in the 71st minute of play. If Thilo Schütz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mike Reimer came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Marner TV's Thilo Schütz. But to his dismay, Thilo Schütz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of Marner TV booed when PAOK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zula Hodyl didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Thilo Schütz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marner TV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thilo Schütz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mike Reimer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Raphael Gabler showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 83 minute of play. In the 89th minute, Marner TV's Raphael Gabler dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Mike Reimer made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Thilo Schütz sent off a good shot on target. Marner TV's Raphael Gabler got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The PAOK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Marner TV's performance. The match ended with a win for Marner TV.
