After 3 played minutes Spandauer Rain Kings got a freekick which was hit by Kuno Zellier. After some careless play in the Union Solingen defense, Ken Saur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Philipp Olowka. The Union Solingen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Philipp Olowka should have stopped the shot. Marco Weste let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 16th minute shot 1-1 at rihgt post. Philipp Olowka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ken Saur, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Spandauer Rain Kings getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Kuno Zellier hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Manfred Klimke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philipp Olowka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manfred Klimke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ken Saur to strike the kick off in the second half. Johan Korell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jacob Kobel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Union Solingen's Mario Lung got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Hannes Altvater had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sebastian Finkenrath hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Spandauer Rain Kings's zone, Ulli Füngerlings stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacob Kobel came out of the goal and Ulli Füngerlings tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Korell in the 69th minute of play forced Spandauer Rain Kings's goalkeeper Jacob Kobel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hannes Altvater fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Kobel having to interfere. Karl Denz hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Jacob Kobel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Weste, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Johan Korell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manfred Klimke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Union Solingen's Philipp Olowka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Klimke in the 88th minute of play. After 92 minutes of play, Union Solingen's Marco Weste made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacob Kobel was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Spandauer Rain Kings getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ken Saur hit a great ball.
