Sigfred Kildefjord showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörg Paech, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. FC Podbeskidzie Żory were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Green Aaper Forestibexes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gert Fazio took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Markus Esch heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 20th match minute, FC Podbeskidzie Żory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörg Paech to maneuver through the defense. Sigfred Kildefjord took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franz Wehner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. D.J. Neymar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 32nd playminute. Stefan Wadehn charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörg Paech in the 47th minute of play forced Green Aaper Forestibexes's goalkeeper Sigfred Kildefjord to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 68 minutes of play, Green Aaper Forestibexes's Georg Wieberneit made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bastian Maas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jörg Paech could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Sigfred Kildefjord made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carl Dörnbrack during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Podbeskidzie Żory's Franz Wehner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sigfred Kildefjord. That made the score 4-1 after 81 minutes of play. Jörg Paech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigfred Kildefjord having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Georg Wieberneit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 94 minutes, Franz Wehner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Podbeskidzie Żory's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franz Wehner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Green Aaper Forestibexes's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
