The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Entenort's Gerd-Peter Heimeier got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franz Wehner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th match minute, FC Podbeskidzie Żory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franz Wehner to maneuver through the defense. Gerhart Ammermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florian Piechocki's late challenge caught a FC Podbeskidzie Żory's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
