Edgar Wülfing made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Edgar Wülfing came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Fenerbahce1907's William Anselm. But to his dismay, William Anselm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 14 played minutes Salzburghofen got a freekick which was hit by Leif Hammarberg. In the 15th minute William Anselm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Wülfing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Salzburghofen booed when Fenerbahce1907 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcin Ludwiczak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Nuri Steffen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fenerbahce1907's Piers Harris didn't even have to move. With an all-out effort, Salzburghofen's Piers Harris threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Enrico Schmedes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fenerbahce1907's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nuri Steffen was slow to take the kick. During this time Salzburghofen's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Salzburghofen's corner Nuri Steffen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Piers Harris quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wigalf Hofmann in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Wülfing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Fenerbahce1907's Piers Harris got control of the ball when Enrico Schmedes tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Fenerbahce1907's Wigalf Hofmann in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Salzburghofen's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Wigalf Hofmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Wülfing was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. When Wigalf Hofmann, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 34 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Edgar Wülfing was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Fenerbahce1907's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when 顾思扬 scored to the left of an out of position Piers Harris, making the score, 1-2. 顾思扬 kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that William Anselm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Wülfing was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Wigalf Hofmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenerbahce1907's supporters rose to their feet, but Wigalf Hofmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Wülfing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when William Anselm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Enrico Schmedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piers Harris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, William Anselm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edgar Wülfing. William Anselm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahce1907's Fidelio Fricke got a free kick in the 57th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrico Schmedes in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Piers Harris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th match minute, Salzburghofen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 顾思扬 to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Wülfing made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Wigalf Hofmann sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the game, Fenerbahce1907's William Anselm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When Salzburghofen's Enrico Schmedes in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fenerbahce1907's goalie prevented a goal. In the 70th minute Salzburghofen were awarded a corner. Nuri Steffen went to the cornerflag to take it. Jan Kessen tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Piers Harris. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-4 in the 70th minute. A collision led to Salzburghofen getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Leif Hammarberg hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Anselm during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute, William Anselm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piers Harris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Schmedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes of play, Salzburghofen's Enrico Schmedes made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Piers Harris was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fenerbahce1907's Piers Harris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrico Schmedes in the 83rd minute of play. Edgar Wülfing was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and William Anselm capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. William Anselm really showed his touch with that goal: 3-5. 顾思扬 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Piers Harris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Salzburghofen were awarded a corner. Nuri Steffen went to the cornerflag to take it. Enrico Schmedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Salzburghofen lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
