After a rather tough play, FCWesel's Raoul Erfurt got a free kick in the 19th minute. Karsten Altendorf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Hemling in the 23rd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Dageförde FC got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Meckel. Vadim von Bonin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Matthias Gingold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marc Waidner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Matthias Thielen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karsten Altendorf was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. When Herbert Hemling came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the FCWesel fans jumped to their feet. Dageförde FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthias Gingold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute, Matthias Gingold left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dageförde FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Matthias Gingold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Marc Waidner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Matthias Thielen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. Dageförde FC's Efraim Schaaf got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nikolas Baum hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Nikolaus Terwester's late challenge caught a FCWesel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
