Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Saul Gaul kicked off to start the match. Günter Dröst made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Roberto Becker sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Niederwenigern getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Sean Schlebusch hit a great ball. Clemens Radant's late challenge caught a FCWesel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemens Radant helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Clemens Radant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FCWesel's Niccolo Rieger got a free kick in the 12th minute. 17 minutes into the game, FCWesel's Nikolas Baum nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Günter Dröst made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Niederwenigern were furious when Hugo Vogel was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Niederwenigern:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FCWesel:s goal. After a rather tough play, FCWesel's Matthias Thielen got a free kick in the 24th minute. Marc Waidner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemens Radant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th match minute, Niederwenigern was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilbert Peters to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Becker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Günter Dröst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Herbert Hemling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Günter Dröst. Niederwenigern's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herbert Hemling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Niederwenigern's Günter Dröst proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Niederwenigern from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Günter Dröst didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raoul Erfurt went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Thielen in the 59th minute of play forced Niederwenigern's goalkeeper Günter Dröst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FCWesel's Herbert Hemling got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Matthias Thielen notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Niederwenigern's Günter Dröst. Günter Dröst was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Günter Dröst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raoul Erfurt in the 68th minute of play. Günter Dröst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Hemling in the 73rd minute of play. Matthias Thielen took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Günter Dröst. Günter Dröst dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 78 minutes into the match, Niederwenigern's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Hemling came free, but Günter Dröst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matthias Thielen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Günter Dröst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Hemling in the 81st minute of the match. Niederwenigern's Günter Dröst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Thielen in the 82nd minute of play. Günter Dröst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Hemling in the 83rd minute of play. Günter Dröst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikolas Baum, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 89 minutes of play, FCWesel's Herbert Hemling made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Günter Dröst was left in no man's land by his defense there! Günter Dröst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Hemling, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the referee ended the match the FCWesel players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
