The Rodenhof FSV fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Rodenhof FSV's Charles Voland looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 15 played minutes Rodenhof FSV got a freekick which was hit by Ray Peuckert. If Jonas Deimann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Livio Göger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Deimann in the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Jonas Deimann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Oberbillig fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Reinhold Günther charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinhold Günther the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernhard Steinki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rodenhof FSV's Charles Voland in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee showed Friedemann Faber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Friedemann Faber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41stth minute of the game Charles Voland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Oberbillig's Günther Heine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Livio Göger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Friedemann Faber in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Deimann in the 47th minute of play forced Rodenhof FSV's goalkeeper Livio Göger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Friedemann Faber to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Friedemann Faber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Oberbillig fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zwi Deml in the 54th minute of play forced Rodenhof FSV's goalkeeper Livio Göger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mark Zimmermann struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Günther Heine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rodenhof FSV. After a defensive mix-up in FC Oberbillig's zone, Ray Peuckert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Günther Heine came out of the goal and Ray Peuckert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anton Berghorn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Livio Göger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Radolf Trumpf managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Oberbillig's supporters rose to their feet, but Radolf Trumpf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Livio Göger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Charles Voland in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Günther Heine, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Günther Heine made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Mark Zimmermann sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 76 minutes, Anton Berghorn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Oberbillig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Berghorn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Charles Voland dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Günther Heine, 4-2. 86 minutes into the match, Charles Voland dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Günther Heine, 4-3. Charles Volands short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Günther Heine to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charles Voland got free with Günther Heine in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Oberbillig's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
