After 8 played minutes Bahnhof got a freekick which was hit by Simon Szeimies. Theodor Schraier charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Theodor Schraier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Wespen1921 booed when Bahnhof was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theodor Schraier didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Theodor Drautz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theodor Drautz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zoltan Djir having to interfere. A collision led to Bahnhof getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Wilhelm Dörken hit a great ball. Wespen1921's Gero Brinkmann got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcel Ledebur struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Zoltan Djir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wespen1921. 25 minutes into the match, Bahnhof's goal looked a bit too open when Theodor Drautz came free, but Zoltan Djir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcel Ledebur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the game, Wilhelm Dörken threw the ball into play from the sideline. Wespen1921's Curtis Elgert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Theodor Drautz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wespen1921's supporters rose to their feet, but Theodor Drautz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zoltan Djir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mattias Kühne took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zoltan Djir. Zoltan Djir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. During the 41st minute of the match Theodor Schraier completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Theodor Schraier a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Bahnhof's Theodor Schraier got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mattias Kühne during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Wespen1921 got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Kühne. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute of the match, Gero Brinkmann tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zoltan Djir saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcel Ledebur received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zoltan Djir came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcel Ledebur slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 57th minute. If Gero Brinkmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theodor Drautz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Wespen1921's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Marcel Ledebur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 played minutes Bahnhof got a freekick which was hit by Sascha Reichow. In the 70th minute Gero Brinkmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zoltan Djir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Marcel Ledebur took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Zoltan Djir to make any attempt to save it. Marcel Ledebur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zoltan Djir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theodor Drautz in the 78th minute of play forced Bahnhof's goalkeeper Zoltan Djir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Ledebur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Zoltan Djir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zoltan Djir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Ledebur in the 82nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theodor Drautz got free with Zoltan Djir in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zoltan Djir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Theodor Drautz's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Gero Brinkmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zoltan Djir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Bahnhof's Zoltan Djir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Ledebur in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Wespen1921 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bahnhof.
