Kyrill Sellmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Livio Göger having to interfere. Livio Göger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyrill Sellmer in the 12th minute of play. Livio Göger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joshua Herz, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rodenhof FSV's zone, Joshua Herz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Livio Göger came out of the goal and Joshua Herz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roman Koberstein kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Joshua Herz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Rodenhof FSV's Arvid Butenweg got a free kick in the 27th minute. Kyrill Sellmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kyrill Sellmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Joshua Herz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rodenhof FSV's Livio Göger. Livio Göger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FSV Monacodoom's Alex Baffoe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ray Peuckert in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half FSV Monacodoom were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Rodenhof FSV's Charles Voland in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FSV Monacodoom's goalie prevented a goal. 54 minutes into the match, FSV Monacodoom's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Gerlinger came free, but Alex Baffoe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Livio Göger was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Joshua Herz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joshua Herz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. When Joshua Herz came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the FSV Monacodoom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joshua Herz couldn't finish the play. Livio Göger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joshua Herz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 60 minute of play. Livio Göger was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Kyrill Sellmer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kyrill Sellmer really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Joshua Herz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Livio Göger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FSV Monacodoom made a substitution. Andreas Kemper replaced Niklas Bährchen. After a rather tough play, Rodenhof FSV's Roman Koberstein got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Joshua Herz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Livio Göger. The goal made the score 0-5. After having played for 80 minutes, Andreas Kemper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FSV Monacodoom's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Kemper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joshua Herz in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Livio Göger, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Karl Lehmler received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Livio Göger came out and tried to block the shot, but Karl Lehmler slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 84th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Joshua Herz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Livio Göger. Rodenhof FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joshua Herz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. FSV Monacodoom's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
