Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joshua Herz kicked off to start the match. Alex Baffoe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikolas Baum, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After 5 played minutes FCWesel got a freekick which was hit by Ron Fromme. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Joshua Herz sped through FCWesel's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marc Waidner. Kyrill Sellmer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marc Waidner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. FCWesel's Marc Waidner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Herz in the 17th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Kyrill Sellmer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marc Waidner, 2-0. Niklas Bährchen scored 3-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marc Waidner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Niklas Bährchen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FSV Monacodoom's supporters rose to their feet, but Niklas Bährchen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc Waidner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FSV Monacodoom's Kyrill Sellmer got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kyrill Sellmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Waidner having to interfere. With a little luck, FCWesel's Marc Waidner got control of the ball when Joshua Herz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kyrill Sellmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jakob Dahlinger came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the FSV Monacodoom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakob Dahlinger couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Hemling made a kick off. A collision led to FSV Monacodoom getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ernst Christe hit a great ball. Kyrill Sellmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Waidner having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Jakob Dahlinger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FSV Monacodoom's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakob Dahlinger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jakob Dahlinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niklas Bährchen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marc Waidner having to make a save. Raoul Erfurt struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Alex Baffoe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FCWesel. FSV Monacodoom were furious when Ernst Christe was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FSV Monacodoom! Elmar Peschke placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jakob Dahlinger managed to get in a good position for a shot. FSV Monacodoom's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakob Dahlinger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc Waidner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute, Ron Fromme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marc Waidner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joshua Herz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FCWesel booed when FSV Monacodoom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakob Dahlinger didn't get a good kick on the ball.
