When Cosmo Trappmann came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Fc Asa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosmo Trappmann couldn't finish the play. After having played for 23 minutes, Karl Straub managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Asa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Straub was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan Killmaier kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Friedemann Faber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Gnann having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Friedemann Faber in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Holger Gnann saved Fc Asa from getting behind. Anton Berghorn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Holger Gnann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute Friedemann Faber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Gnann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Karl Straub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Friedemann Faber made a kick off. In the 76th minute, Anton Berghorn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl Straub struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Günther Heine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Asa. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Asa's zone, Anton Berghorn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Gnann came out of the goal and Anton Berghorn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Fc Asa getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Maik Liebens hit a great ball.
