In the 9th match minute, FC Oberbillig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zwi Deml to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Ledebur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Günther Heine having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Reinhold Günther threw the ball into play from the sideline. Wespen1921's Curtis Elgert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 21st minute, Friedemann Faber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Oberbillig fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lasse Backhaus's late challenge caught a Wespen1921's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lasse Backhaus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Lasse Backhaus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Friedemann Faber in the 39th minute of play forced Wespen1921's goalkeeper Frithjof Bortlisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Anton Berghorn fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Oberbillig's protests and gave Anton Berghorn a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wespen1921 booed when FC Oberbillig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Berghorn didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Theodor Drautz fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wespen1921's protests and gave Theodor Drautz a yellow card for diving instead. Theodor Drautz kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Frithjof Bortlisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Berghorn in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Friedemann Faber to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, FC Oberbillig's Anton Berghorn ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frithjof Bortlisz. Frithjof Bortlisz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Frithjof Bortlisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Deimann in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Theodor Drautz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Friedemann Faber in the 63rd minute of play forced Wespen1921's goalkeeper Frithjof Bortlisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Jonas Deimann managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Oberbillig's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Deimann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frithjof Bortlisz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Berghorn in the 68th minute of play forced Wespen1921's goalkeeper Frithjof Bortlisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th match minute, FC Oberbillig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radolf Trumpf to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Ledebur missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 72 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Günther Heine right hand side. Frithjof Bortlisz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Friedemann Faber, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Jonas Deimann kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Günther Heine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theodor Drautz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Wespen1921 booed when FC Oberbillig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zwi Deml didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gero Brinkmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gero Brinkmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Mattias Kühne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, FC Oberbillig's Frithjof Bortlisz threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Friedemann Faber, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Although Wespen1921 had been in control for most of the match, FC Oberbillig still came away with the win.
