Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mark Zimmermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Günter Dröst having to interfere. Günter Dröst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Zimmermann in the 14th minute of the match. Hilbert Peters hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Günter Dröst came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rodenhof FSV's Charles Voland. But to his dismay, Charles Voland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 32nd match minute, Niederwenigern was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Mahler to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute of the match Bernhard Steinki sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Günter Dröst skillfully saved the ball. Charles Voland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Günter Dröst having to interfere. If Charles Voland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ray Peuckert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 42nd minute of the match Paul Mahler completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Paul Mahler a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Niederwenigern getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Paul Mahler hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charles Voland was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Clemens Radant left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Niederwenigern fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Clemens Radant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Livio Göger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Kaspar Eckhardt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Niederwenigern's Günter Dröst got control of the ball when Mark Zimmermann tried to sneak it across the goal line. The long shot by Ephraim Flaht in the 76th minute really tested Günter Dröst's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Günter Dröst made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Börje Gerlinger sent off a good shot on target. The throw-in from Roman Koberstein in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Niederwenigern's Orlando Brockschmidt. A collision led to Niederwenigern getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Saul Gaul hit a great ball. Despite being the better team, Rodenhof FSV failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
