The tension between the FC Preußen Münster and the Hangover 96 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Josef Westermann hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, FC Preußen Münster's Elmar Kahsner seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Elmar Kahsner the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Preußen Münster protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Elmar Kahsner had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Hangover 96. Adam Mieß showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 44th minute Anthony Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Mieß saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josef Röwe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had been going on for 74 minutes, Hangover 96's Rupert Bullacher got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Adam Mieß. Hangover 96's Wladimir Klöser was substituted for Alvar Goldenbogen. A collision led to Hangover 96 getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Stefan Paetz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hangover 96's zone, Arend Honsel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Wortmann came out of the goal and Arend Honsel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, FC Preußen Münster's Josef Röwe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Wortmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Boris Kozok came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the FC Preußen Münster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boris Kozok couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute, Boris Kozok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
