Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abi Ungerechts made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, 1. FC Schulberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Meng to maneuver through the defense. FC Schulberg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 80th minute, Abbe Schön ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roland Overkamp was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Roland Overkamp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abbe Schön went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. 89 minutes into the match, Nils Glücks notched a goal, 4-5, to the right of Stoppenbach's Roland Overkamp. Roland Overkamp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raimund Remark's late challenge caught a 1. FC Schulberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimund Remark helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Stoppenbach got a freekick which was hit by Raimund Remark. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Abbe Schön managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1. FC Schulberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Abbe Schön was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Overkamp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stoppenbach's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
