Sigurd Hutterer hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Durs Theobald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conrado Medeiros. Guti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Durs Theobald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 30 played minutes Guti got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Lendaa. After 36 played minutes FC Puhl got a freekick which was hit by August Kossendey. Conrado Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Marder, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Durs Theobald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Medeiros having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Guti got a freekick which was hit by Dominik Jesswein. Conrado Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Kossendey, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for August Kossendey to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FC Puhl's zone, Max Grammelspacher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Volkmar Post came out of the goal and Max Grammelspacher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Durs Theobald got free with Conrado Medeiros in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Conrado Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Marder, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute of the match, Jacob Marder tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Conrado Medeiros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Peppo Petershagen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volkmar Post having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Puhl's Jacob Marder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Conrado Medeiros. That made the score 2-2 after 65 minutes of play. Durs Theobald charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Durs Theobald the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Puhl's zone, Paulo Lendaa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Volkmar Post came out of the goal and Paulo Lendaa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conrado Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from August Kossendey in the 76th minute of the match. A collision led to Guti getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Max Grammelspacher hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, FC Puhl's Enrico Schemel tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Guti's Paulo Lendaa in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Puhl's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Guti booed when FC Puhl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durs Theobald didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute of the match, August Kossendey tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Conrado Medeiros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Guti's Max Grammelspacher got a free kick in the 87th minute. Paulo Lendaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volkmar Post having to interfere. With a little luck, Guti's Conrado Medeiros got control of the ball when Timofej Rehnen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Durs Theobald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Conrado Medeiros made a huge save. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
