Abbe Schön's late challenge caught a Fürweiler FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abbe Schön helped the player get up and apologised. Abbe Schön hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 4 minutes, Eggert Grab mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fürweiler FC and the 1. FC Schulberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th minute, Eggert Grab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliver Grehn made in the 7th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Torsten Frank however managed to control. Winfried Hofstedde kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Fürweiler FC's Mirco Wick tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Fürweiler FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Florian Born hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the game, Jakob Orthaus threw the ball into play from the sideline. 1. FC Schulberg's Leopold Rosenbaum quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jan Klarner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abbe Schön went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Ralf Rahmstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toni Klüting was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, one of 1. FC Schulberg:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 1. FC Schulberg. The supporters of Fürweiler FC booed when 1. FC Schulberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gideon Raubier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ralf Rahmstein charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ralf Rahmstein the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Ralf Rahmstein sped through 1. FC Schulberg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Niccolo Kappestein. After a defensive mix-up in Fürweiler FC's zone, Leopold Rosenbaum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Klarner came out of the goal and Leopold Rosenbaum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ralf Rahmstein made the kick off in the second half. When Mirco Wick came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Fürweiler FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mirco Wick couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, 1. FC Schulberg's Leopold Rosenbaum got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Jakob Orthaus kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Gideon Raubier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jan Klarner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolai Löw hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The supporters of 1. FC Schulberg booed when Fürweiler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Born didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Fürweiler FC's Florian Born nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niccolo Kappestein made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Jan Klarner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abbe Schön in the 82nd minute of play. Ralf Rahmstein scored 4-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niccolo Kappestein, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Many of 1. FC Schulberg's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. 1. FC Schulberg may have spent more time on the ball, but Fürweiler FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
