Spectators: 7956 (Terracing: 5968, Seating: 1830, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Per Tenbruck started the match with the kick off. Arnd Müller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandor Bergsohn in the 3rd minute of play. When Ludwigsburg's Günter Clemens in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sivas's goalie prevented a goal. Arnd Müller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandor Bergsohn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnd Müller didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Günter Clemens went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ludwigsburg's Günter Clemens got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12thth minute of the game Günter Clemens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sivas's Arnd Müller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Ludwigsburg fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Ludwigsburg's Sandor Bergsohn looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 15 minutes into the game, Per Tenbruck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sivas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ludwigsburg the free kick. After 15 played minutes Sivas got a freekick which was hit by Per Tenbruck. In the 18th minute, Günter Clemens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnd Müller was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Ludwigsburg's Phil Fritz got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th match minute, Sivas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Tenbruck to maneuver through the defense. Ludwigsburg's Günter Clemens got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28thth minute of the game Sandor Bergsohn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sivas's Arnd Müller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 33 minutes, Phil Fritz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ludwigsburg and the Sivas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ludwigsburg getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Phil Fritz hit a great ball. When Ludwigsburg's Sandor Bergsohn in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Arnd Müller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After a rather tough play, Ludwigsburg's Hannes Göring got a free kick in the 41st minute. Hannes Göring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Hannes Göring managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ludwigsburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Hannes Göring was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnd Müller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, Sandor Bergsohn notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Sivas's Arnd Müller. Arnd Müller was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Arnd Müller made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Sandor Bergsohn sent off a good shot on target. Günter Clemens succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 54th playminute. Per Tenbruck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Günter Clemens notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Sivas's Arnd Müller. Arnd Müller was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hannes Göring hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Arnd Müller made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Karsten Scheepers sent off a good shot on target. Arnd Müller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandor Bergsohn, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Sivas's Arnd Müller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Göring in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Sandor Bergsohn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnd Müller. Sivas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandor Bergsohn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Karsten Scheepers scored 0-9 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnd Müller, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Günter Clemens took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Arnd Müller to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandor Bergsohn in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnd Müller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute, Per Tenbruck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hannes Göring received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Arnd Müller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
