Murat Butzendorf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kryspin Babicki having to interfere. With a little luck, Fürweiler FC's Nicolai Löw got control of the ball when Gerd Bodendiek tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerd Bodendiek got free with Nicolai Löw in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute, Gerd Bodendiek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolai Löw was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 29th minute Harald Otte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Babicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Theo Heine had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolai Löw. Fürweiler FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Theo Heine was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The audience was convinced that René Fikus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kryspin Babicki was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Gerd Bodendieks short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Nicolai Löw to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nicolai Löw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Heine, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Theo Heine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wacker FFB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theo Heine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grischa Heiermann was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 41st minute. Wacker FFB's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 42 played minutes Fürweiler FC got a freekick which was hit by Florian Born. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Grischa Heiermann made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Theo Heine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolai Löw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grischa Heiermann scored 3-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolai Löw, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicolai Löw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grischa Heiermann in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Theo Heine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolai Löw was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 64 minutes into the match, Theo Heine notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Fürweiler FC's Nicolai Löw. Nicolai Löw was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. René Fikus's late challenge caught a Wacker FFB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. René Fikus helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Wacker FFB booed when Fürweiler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. René Fikus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolai Löw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerd Bodendiek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes, Harald Otte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fürweiler FC and the Wacker FFB players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Wacker FFB booed when Fürweiler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Otte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolai Löw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grischa Heiermann in the 77th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Theo Heine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolai Löw was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. If Grischa Heiermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Florian Born hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Wacker FFB had played much better football throughout.
