Spectators: 7670 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 70) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Paulo Lendaa made the kick off which started today's match. Sigurd Hutterer kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Sandor Bergsohn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Medeiros was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 10 minutes into the game, Günter Clemens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ludwigsburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guti the free kick. A collision led to Ludwigsburg getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Günter Clemens hit a great ball. Ludwigsburg's Karsten Scheepers quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dominik Jesswein, made in the 18th minute of the game. Friedemann Renner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gunther Schaub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Günter Clemens took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Medeiros. Conrado Medeiros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 27 played minutes Ludwigsburg got a freekick which was hit by Wolfram Moos. After some careless play in the Guti defense, Günter Clemens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conrado Medeiros. The Guti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conrado Medeiros should have stopped the shot. Conrado Medeiros came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Ludwigsburg's Günter Clemens. But to his dismay, Günter Clemens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Guti's Friedemann Renner got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gunther Schaub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Lendaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Guti players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ludwigsburg were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sandor Bergsohn to make the kick off. Günter Clemens who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Conrado Medeiros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Peter Overesch kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Sigurd Hutterer, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Friedemann Renner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karsten Scheepers got free with Conrado Medeiros in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dominik Jesswein kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Sigurd Hutterer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gunther Schaub. Ludwigsburg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Conrado Medeiros was a little too slow when Hannes Göring got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-6. Sandor Bergsohn kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Hans Kauder hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute of the match Sandor Bergsohn sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conrado Medeiros skillfully saved the ball. Sigurd Hutterer kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Sandor Bergsohn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Conrado Medeiros. Guti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Günter Clemens struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Conrado Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ludwigsburg. In the 89th minute, Günter Clemens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Medeiros was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. When Peter Overesch fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ludwigsburg's protests and gave Peter Overesch a yellow card for diving instead. After 92 played minutes Ludwigsburg got a freekick which was hit by Peter Overesch. Sigurd Hutterer, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
