An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Schneider in the 22nd minute of play forced Heigenkam's goalkeeper Sebastian Dannemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Dannemann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vlad Steiner in the 27th minute of the match. Alfonso Holthoff struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Olav Hellwig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heigenkam. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morgan Korth in the 39th minute of play forced Heigenkam's goalkeeper Sebastian Dannemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Dannemann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morgan Korth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard, long distance shot from Feddo Weidlandt flew over the goal. Ellerau's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Toni Kerstan scored to the left of an out of position Olav Hellwig, making the score, 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Morgan Korth was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Toni Kerstan made a precise shot to the right of Olav Hellwig. Ellerau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. After 65 played minutes Ellerau got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Gestrich. After 69 played minutes Heigenkam got a freekick which was hit by Virgil Wendlandt. In the 71st match minute, Heigenkam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Holthoff to maneuver through the defense. Ubbo Kremer struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Heigenkam's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
