Olav Hellwig was left in no man's land by his defense there! Outer Space FC's Boris Fackler got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Outer Space FC booed when Ellerau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attila Bagehorn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josua Kuhles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olav Hellwig having to interfere. A collision led to Ellerau getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Attila Bagehorn hit a great ball. Ellerau's Vlad Steiner pulled a muscle in his leg after 28 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Justin Schaffert fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Outer Space FC's protests and gave Justin Schaffert a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute Tommy Schneider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Dörr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Boris Fackler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Outer Space FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Boris Fackler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olav Hellwig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olav Hellwig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Fackler in the 71st minute of the match. If Josua Kuhles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 played minutes, Outer Space FC's Manfred Diem shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olav Hellwig came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Outer Space FC reached it. Tommy Schneider in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rudolf Dörr, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
