Ronalds McDonald started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Kurt Illgner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvio Jatsu was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Silvio Jatsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Ramsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Vince Van Halssbeeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronalds McDonald in the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the game Tizian Haunstein made a throw-in which Johannes Popp played forward. Ruprecht Schreier made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Borussia Dortmund BVB 09's Joakim Jensen. Kurt Illgner took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silvio Jatsu. Borussia Dortmund BVB 09's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 42 played minutes, Borussia Dortmund BVB 09's Luz Jonen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vince Van Halssbeeck came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Borussia Dortmund BVB 09 reached it. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Ronalds McDonald took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Vince Van Halssbeeck to make any attempt to save it. A throw-in in the 47th minute of the game was made by Ruprecht Schreier with Johannes Popp as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johannes Popp made a kick off. Vince Van Halssbeeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronalds McDonald in the 54th minute of the match. Kurt Illgner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Silvio Jatsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronalds McDonald took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vince Van Halssbeeck. Vince Van Halssbeeck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 63 minutes into the match, Kesten's goal looked a bit too open when 박 복 came free, but Vince Van Halssbeeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoine Tönnies in the 67th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund BVB 09's goalkeeper Silvio Jatsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes in the game Nenad Blecker did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kurt Illgner. A collision led to Kesten getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jack Ramsey hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund BVB 09's Utz Amann got a free kick in the 75th minute. Silvio Jatsu came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Kesten's Johannes Popp. But to his dismay, Johannes Popp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 박 복 scored 3-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vince Van Halssbeeck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ronalds McDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Borussia Dortmund BVB 09 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kesten for a fine match.
