Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Josua Koerlin started the match with the kick off. Ruprecht Schreier got a throw-in 3 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Axel Fiedler. Johannes Popp might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliah Pluta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johannes Popp ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josua Koerlin in the 11th minute of play forced Kesten's goalkeeper Vince Van Halssbeeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SV Igling's Eliah Pluta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stellan Sundling in the 13th minute of play. Eliah Pluta came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Kesten's Johannes Popp. But to his dismay, Johannes Popp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Stellan Sundling kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Eliah Pluta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Popp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, SV Igling's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Fiedler came free, but Eliah Pluta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes Kesten got a freekick which was hit by Rutger Cornelißen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josua Koerlin got free with Vince Van Halssbeeck in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stellan Sundling's late challenge caught a SV Igling's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stellan Sundling helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SV Igling booed when Kesten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stellan Sundling didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, SV Igling's goal looked a bit too open when Stellan Sundling came free, but Eliah Pluta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Johannes Popp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliah Pluta. SV Igling's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johannes Popp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 46th minute, Stellan Sundling left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kesten fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After the first half Kesten were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johannes Popp was the one to do the kick off. When Antti Breitlinger fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SV Igling's protests and gave Antti Breitlinger a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, SV Igling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antti Breitlinger to maneuver through the defense. Stellan Sundling took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliah Pluta. Eliah Pluta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johannes Popp got free with Eliah Pluta in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Axel Fiedler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliah Pluta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. If Stellan Sundling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josua Koerlin charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josua Koerlin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th match minute, SV Igling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josua Koerlin to maneuver through the defense. SV Igling's Eliah Pluta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Popp in the 79th minute of play. After 82 played minutes Kesten got a freekick which was hit by Tizian Haunstein. Eliah Pluta was a little too slow when Johannes Popp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-6. A hard shot 90 in the game by Johannes Popp from a close distance when the talented Eliah Pluta managed to make a qualified save. SV Igling's players were relieved. If Stellan Sundling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Hendrik Kolber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Nenad Blecker in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SV Igling's Hendrik Kolber.
