Christian Stratmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Dörr having to interfere. Outer Space FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manfred Diem in the 63rd minute. The corner led to Outer Space FC's Justin Schaffert getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Luis Krause was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borussia Dortmund BVB 09's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Outer Space FC the free kick. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle.
