In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leuderodee's goalkeeper Anjo Ewert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anjo Ewert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xie Guang Fei, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The audience was convinced that Xie Guang Fei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anjo Ewert was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Jakob Stevens put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Anjo Ewert. After 36 minutes, Xie Guang Fei made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Leuderodee's Anjo Ewert tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Mertesdorf FC were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Anjo Ewert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xie Guang Fei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hinrik Gerste kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Jakob Stevens made a precise shot to the right of Anjo Ewert. Leuderodee's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Xie Guang Fei received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anjo Ewert came out and tried to block the shot, but Xie Guang Fei slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 66th minute. With his leg Anjo Ewert managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Mertesdorf FC's Wincenty Tarka fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Xie Guang Fei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anjo Ewert was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Anjo Ewert was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Xie Guang Fei capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Xie Guang Fei really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. If Xie Guang Fei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anjo Ewert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xie Guang Fei in the 89th minute of play. Täve Ullmann's late challenge caught a Mertesdorf FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Täve Ullmann helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Täve Ullmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anjo Ewert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xie Guang Fei's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The Leuderodee fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mertesdorf FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
