Spectators: 7503 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 53) Leuderodee's Billy Gagelmann started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Rodolfo Schultheiss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Dannemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anjo Ewert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Kerstan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernhard Schwarzkopff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anjo Ewert having to interfere. If Ubbo Kremer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Dennis Zorn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Leuderodee's zone, Ubbo Kremer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anjo Ewert came out of the goal and Ubbo Kremer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Heigenkam's Sebastian Dannemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Gagelmann in the 21st minute of play. After 24 minutes, Detmar Brunet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leuderodee and the Heigenkam players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Leuderodee's zone, Bernhard Schwarzkopff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anjo Ewert came out of the goal and Bernhard Schwarzkopff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ubbo Kremer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Anjo Ewert when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 32 minutes into the match, Heigenkam's Bernhard Schwarzkopff sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anjo Ewert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anjo Ewert made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Toni Kerstan sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the game, Bernhard Schwarzkopff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Anjo Ewert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute, Virgil Wendlandt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Täve Ullmann took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastian Dannemann. Heigenkam's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Heigenkam's Friedo Scherbaum sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anjo Ewert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernhard Schwarzkopff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anjo Ewert having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Friedo Scherbaum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heigenkam's supporters rose to their feet, but Friedo Scherbaum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anjo Ewert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anjo Ewert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feddo Weidlandt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgil Wendlandt hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When Alfonso Holthoff fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heigenkam's protests and gave Alfonso Holthoff a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Alfonso Holthoff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feddo Weidlandt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Toni Kerstan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Leuderodee's Anjo Ewert. Anjo Ewert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 70 minutes into the game, Friedo Scherbaum was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heigenkam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leuderodee the free kick. After a rather tough play, Heigenkam's Friedo Scherbaum got a free kick in the 70th minute. Anjo Ewert came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Heigenkam's Alfonso Holthoff. But to his dismay, Alfonso Holthoff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Friedo Scherbaum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Toni Kerstan made a precise shot to the right of Anjo Ewert. Leuderodee's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After some careless play in the Leuderodee defense, Ubbo Kremer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anjo Ewert. The Leuderodee fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anjo Ewert should have stopped the shot. Bernhard Schwarzkopff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anjo Ewert having to make a save. Anjo Ewert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Friedo Scherbaum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anjo Ewert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernhard Schwarzkopff in the 90th minute of play. Anjo Ewert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Kerstan, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 94th match minute, Leuderodee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Zorn to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Friedo Scherbaum in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anjo Ewert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Heigenkam's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
