After 9 minutes of play, Mertesdorf FC's Xie Guang Fei made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leo Schnackenberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 12 minutes into the match, Vinnum City's goal looked a bit too open when Xie Guang Fei came free, but Leo Schnackenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Leonel Hegoi sped through Vinnum City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leo Schnackenberg. Harry Rybarczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Hüseyin-Kenan Lautwein reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Richard Reiss. The goal made the score 1-3. Gerd Klassen came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Richard Reiss could save by the left post. 27 minutes into the match, Mertesdorf FC's goalkeeper Richard Reiss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torsten Schikowsky. 31 minutes into the match, Mertesdorf FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hüseyin-Kenan Lautwein came free, but Richard Reiss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Richard Reiss successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 35th minute Xie Guang Fei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Schnackenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Schnackenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xie Guang Fei in the 38th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Ben Kohlenbrenner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mertesdorf FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vinnum City the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Vinnum City's Arno Just tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Vinnum City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mertesdorf FC were winning 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerd Klassen made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Mertesdorf FC's Jakob Stevens dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Ben Kohlenbrenner hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Leo Schnackenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Hegoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonel Hegoi in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Schnackenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Vinnum City getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Hüseyin-Kenan Lautwein hit a great ball. Leo Schnackenberg came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Mertesdorf FC's Xie Guang Fei. But to his dismay, Xie Guang Fei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Jakob Stevens received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leo Schnackenberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Jakob Stevens slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 67th minute. In the 71st play minute Xie Guang Fei came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leo Schnackenberg. 1-8. With an all-out effort, Mertesdorf FC's Leo Schnackenberg threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonel Hegoi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 80th minute, Xie Guang Fei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mertesdorf FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-9. Tarkan Buch hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Gerd Klassen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Reiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes Vinnum City got a freekick which was hit by Hüseyin-Kenan Lautwein. Leo Schnackenberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 88th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Innozenz Martinek. Leo Schnackenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Hegoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Reiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüseyin-Kenan Lautwein in the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Mertesdorf FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerd Klassen came free, but Richard Reiss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mertesdorf FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
