Olav Hellwig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xaver Franz in the 9th minute of the match. Borussia Dortmund BVB 09's Silvio Jatsu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Borussia Dortmund BVB 09 from getting a goal against them. Olav Hellwig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xaver Franz, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 35th minute, Xaver Franz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvio Jatsu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Joakim Jensen's late challenge caught a Ellerau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joakim Jensen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Borussia Dortmund BVB 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Jensen to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Tommy Schneider notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Borussia Dortmund BVB 09's Silvio Jatsu. Silvio Jatsu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Morgan Korth made the kick off in the second half. If Anselm Lazarus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. Silvio Jatsu came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Ellerau's Attila Bagehorn. But to his dismay, Attila Bagehorn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 67 minutes into the game, when Luis Krause put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Borussia Dortmund BVB 09:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ellerau:s goal. Donald Wächter placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a rather tough play, Ellerau's Vlad Steiner got a free kick in the 71st minute. Silvio Jatsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Schneider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvio Jatsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Schneider in the 75th minute of play. After some careless play in the Borussia Dortmund BVB 09 defense, Morgan Korth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvio Jatsu. The Borussia Dortmund BVB 09 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvio Jatsu should have stopped the shot. Olav Hellwig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xaver Franz, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Joakim Jensen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ellerau's Donald Wächter got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Dortmund BVB 09's zone, Attila Bagehorn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Jatsu came out of the goal and Attila Bagehorn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Attila Bagehorn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morgan Korth in the 96th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund BVB 09's goalkeeper Silvio Jatsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ellerau fans cheered their team off the field, for while Borussia Dortmund BVB 09 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
