Frederico Au didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Ellerau's Donald Wächter broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 25th minute Vlad Steiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Römer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olav Hellwig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Götze's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Harold Christann kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Ellerau's Olav Hellwig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harold Christann in the 41st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frederico Au during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Morgan Korth to make the kick off. José Römer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tommy Schneider went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Olav Hellwig didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Götze went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Tommy Schneider could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but José Römer made a huge save.
