Béla Lämmel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 14th minute of the match Bengt Rohn completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bengt Rohn a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 14th match minute, Vorberg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Rohn to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Vorberg FC's zone, Esra Klug stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Brünen came out of the goal and Esra Klug tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute, FC ReherPuls's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Spike Schwarz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 25th minute, Davon Gröger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mesut Leutheusser kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mesut Leutheusser during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 minutes, Wolfgang Bernard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vorberg FC and the FC ReherPuls players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vorberg FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Béla Lämmel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After the first half FC ReherPuls were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Spike Schwarz made the kick off in the second half. Béla Lämmel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Wolfgang Bernard came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Vorberg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wolfgang Bernard couldn't finish the play. Wolfram Schraier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Spike Schwarz in the 66th minute of the match. If Ekkehard Stötzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wolfgang Bernard hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Béla Lämmel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC ReherPuls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Béla Lämmel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wolfgang Bernard hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Béla Lämmel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Magnus Kümmel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Brünen having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vorberg FC's zone, Béla Lämmel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Brünen came out of the goal and Béla Lämmel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC ReherPuls played a much better game than Vorberg FC and deserved their victory. The Vorberg FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
