Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Loris Bornemann got the match started through his kick off. Mark Beisel charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mark Beisel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Winitzki got free with Ekkehard Paroth in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Blut Royale Cologne defense, Loris Bornemann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramon Guzikowski. The Blut Royale Cologne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramon Guzikowski should have stopped the shot. Frederik Grupe hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Patrick-Marc Wallner kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. When Rüdiger Frieters fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1. FC Hüls's protests and gave Rüdiger Frieters a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Blut Royale Cologne booed when 1. FC Hüls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rüdiger Frieters didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Blut Royale Cologne's Ignaz Siebert got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Mark Beisel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Loris Bornemann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicco Rinnerer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Guzikowski having to interfere. Ramon Guzikowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Beisel in the 32nd minute of the match. With a little luck, 1. FC Hüls's Ekkehard Paroth got control of the ball when Kai Quack tried to sneak it across the goal line. Radim Reckle kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Blut Royale Cologne's Jochen Ockert tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Beisel in the 41st minute of play forced Blut Royale Cologne's goalkeeper Ramon Guzikowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Blut Royale Cologne's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Beisel came free, but Ramon Guzikowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Andre Räder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Blut Royale Cologne players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. 1. FC Hüls were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jochen Ockert was the one to do the kick off. Vicco Rinnerer hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ekkehard Paroth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kai Quack, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ekkehard Paroth came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Blut Royale Cologne's Kai Quack. But to his dismay, Kai Quack quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loris Bornemann in the 60th minute of play forced Blut Royale Cologne's goalkeeper Ramon Guzikowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as 1. FC Hüls's Vicco Rinnerer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ramon Guzikowski. That made the score 1-3 after 64 minutes of play. Andre Räder hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jochen Ockert in the 69th minute of play forced 1. FC Hüls's goalkeeper Ekkehard Paroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute of the match, Loris Bornemann tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ramon Guzikowski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ekkehard Paroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jochen Ockert in the 77th minute of play. Blut Royale Cologne's Ramon Guzikowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicco Rinnerer in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Blut Royale Cologne's goalkeeper Ramon Guzikowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mark Beisel. Ramon Guzikowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicco Rinnerer in the 83rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Blut Royale Cologne defense, Vicco Rinnerer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramon Guzikowski. The Blut Royale Cologne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramon Guzikowski should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute Kai Quack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekkehard Paroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Ignaz Siebert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1. FC Hüls's Mark Beisel got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Jochen Ockert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ekkehard Paroth was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. 1. FC Hüls played a much better game than Blut Royale Cologne and deserved their victory. The Blut Royale Cologne players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
