Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lars Bohse started the match with the kick off. Hajo Seyller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Fritz Rudolf Kleinert made a huge save. 6 minutes into the match, Mirko Krumnow had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Max Brünen. Vorberg FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mirko Krumnow was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Vorberg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Udo Stehle came free, but Max Brünen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacques Arnold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Max Brünen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars Bohse struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Max Brünen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mödesse. Fritz Rudolf Kleinert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolfgang Bernard in the 18th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gunther Burkert during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gunther Burkert hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Volkmar Pott fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vorberg FC's protests and gave Volkmar Pott a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Volkmar Pott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 23 minutes, Udo Stehle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mödesse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Udo Stehle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Mödesse getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Jacques Arnold hit a great ball. Max Brünen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Bohse's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After 36 played minutes Mödesse got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Funk. Fritz Rudolf Kleinert didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Vorberg FC's Spike Schwarz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Jacques Arnold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Max Brünen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wolfgang Bernard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ulf Funk kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Joschka Freise charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The crowd rose to their feet as Mirko Krumnow kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Max Brünen. That made the score 1-3 in the 75 minute of play. If Lars Bohse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Ulf Funk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederik Weible took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fritz Rudolf Kleinert. Mödesse's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mödesse's Alexander Plischke got a free kick in the 90th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Spike Schwarz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Fritz Rudolf Kleinert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mödesse's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
