Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kilian Berthelé got the match started through his kick off. When Mario Zorr came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Seeleiten FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Zorr couldn't finish the play. Jakob Berrang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Zorr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SpVgg Mittelfranken 73's Jakob Berrang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kilian Berthelé in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Seeleiten FSV booed when SpVgg Mittelfranken 73 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keith Klanthe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, SpVgg Mittelfranken 73's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Zorr came free, but Jakob Berrang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jakob Berrang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kilian Berthelé in the 18th minute of the match. Jakob Berrang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kilian Berthelé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Mario Zorr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Urs Mahne hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Mario Zorr charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Zorr the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Seeleiten FSV getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Mario Zorr hit a great ball. Mario Zorr got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Claudius van Essen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niko Saager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustel Koroschetz having to interfere. Siegfried Schikowsky kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes SpVgg Mittelfranken 73 got a freekick which was hit by Klaus-Dieter Dormuth. Jakob Berrang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kilian Berthelé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudius van Essen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kilian Berthelé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jakob Berrang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Seeleiten FSV's Kilian Berthelé slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jakob Berrang. That made the score 0-1 after 53 minutes of play. In the 57th minute, Claudius van Essen made a precise shot to the right of Gustel Koroschetz. Seeleiten FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Claudius van Essen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Seeleiten FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Keith Klanthe came free, but Gustel Koroschetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keith Klanthe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niko Saager during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 played minutes SpVgg Mittelfranken 73 got a freekick which was hit by Niko Saager. A collision led to SpVgg Mittelfranken 73 getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Niko Saager hit a great ball. In the 81st minute of the match Stephan Holzheuer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jakob Berrang skillfully saved the ball. In the 83rd of the match, Kilian Berthelé tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Jakob Berrang got in the way and made a wonderful save. If Claudius van Essen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 86 minutes into the game, Siegfried Schikowsky was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seeleiten FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SpVgg Mittelfranken 73 the free kick. Siegfried Schikowsky hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Keith Klanthe during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SpVgg Mittelfranken 73's Keith Klanthe got a free kick in the 91st minute. Stephan Holzheuer might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jakob Berrang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stephan Holzheuer ran back to his position shaking his head. Kilian Berthelé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jakob Berrang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the SpVgg Mittelfranken 73 players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
