In the 9th minute, Ruud Enders got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Clemens Wulf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boris Kuhlmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paul Kremers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 17th minute Boris Kuhlmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Kremers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemens Wulf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduard Gönner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clemens Wulf to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Eduard Gönner managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Hessen Fusball's Clemens Wulf fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hessen Fusball's Paul Kremers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niko Sombrutzki in the 59th minute of play. Uwe Senekowitsch struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Eduard Gönner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hessen Fusball. Eduard Gönner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemens Wulf in the 65th minute. Boris Kuhlmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Kremers having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Uwe Senekowitsch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hessen Fusball's supporters rose to their feet, but Uwe Senekowitsch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduard Gönner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Blauenstein FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ulrich Brüggmann hit a great ball. Clemens Wulf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Eduard Gönner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemens Wulf scored 0-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eduard Gönner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute, Boris Kuhlmann made a precise shot to the right of Paul Kremers. Hessen Fusball's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Blauenstein FC's Paco Amberger got a free kick in the 84th minute. Eduard Gönner didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. After 94 minutes of play, Hessen Fusball's Clemens Wulf made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduard Gönner was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clemens Wulf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Eduard Gönner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Hessen Fusball left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Blauenstein FC.
