The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Ulrich Brüggmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blauenstein FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borr the free kick. After 24 played minutes Blauenstein FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulrich Brüggmann. 26 minutes into the match, Benjamin Saborowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduard Gönner. Blauenstein FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Saborowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Saborowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
