Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 4 minutes, Christof Holzmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SV Bauar Köln and the Borr players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SV Bauar Köln! In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Borr. Heinrich Ulitzka stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Peter Huppertz. 0-1. When Yannik Pöggeler fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SV Bauar Köln's protests and gave Yannik Pöggeler a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes SV Bauar Köln got a freekick which was hit by Yannik Pöggeler. In the 11th minute, Benjamin Saborowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Huppertz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Benjamin Saborowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yannik Pöggeler hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Borr's Mario Jehle got control of the ball when Edmund Förster tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Hartmut Prott came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Borr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hartmut Prott couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Saborowski in the 34th minute of play forced SV Bauar Köln's goalkeeper Peter Huppertz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Benjamin Saborowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 minutes of play, SV Bauar Köln's Albert Miersch made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mario Jehle was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, SV Bauar Köln's Edmund Förster got a free kick in the 71st minute. Mario Jehle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Miersch, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Mario Jehle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Förster in the 78th minute of play. Mario Jehle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Miersch in the 80th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Borr's Benjamin Saborowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Peter Huppertz. Peter Huppertz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Hartmut Prott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
